We designed a simple yet elegant master bedroom suite addition for the home of Dave Wayne and Cindy Geist. This small remodel addition embodies many of the key green principles that Palo Santo Designs promotes. It is small, it is simple, and it is earthen. The walls are pumice-crete construction. The viga ceilings are made with local fire killed dead standing trees. The interior is plastered with natural clay plasters from American Clay, and the floor is a traditional sealed earthen floor (links to earthen floors & plasters in techniques) with radiant heating tubes within it.
