Mark Giorgetti: Founder and Executive Director, since 2001
Education:

Qualifications:
GB-98 Contractor’s License, 16 years experience in the construction trades and small business administration, LEED-Accredited Professional, certificates in solar electric design and green building systems; computer aided drafting. Post graduate level education in greenhouse gas emissions management, and a managing partner at AMENERGY, an affiliate clean energy company.
Mark has trained and taught extensively in the environmental sciences, sustainable building practices and renewable energy systems for buildings. Mark has professional experience in commercial and residential design, permitting and assessing existing buildings for code compliance, structural integrity and energy performance. As well, Mark is accustomed to determining least cost options to build or remodel in environmentally conscious ways. He oversees all aspects of construction management including client relations, contract negotiation, business management, architectural design, estimating, bid proposals, project time line development, and cost tracking. Mark holds his crews to the highest standards of professionalism, quality, competitiveness and client satisfaction.
Interests:
Outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and yoga.

Robert Godreau: Chief Project Manager, since 2004

Qualifications:
GB-02 Contractor’s License; over 30 years experience in the construction trades; certificates in solar electric and green building practices including USGBC LEED construction practices.
As a hands-on Chief Project Manager for Palo Santo Designs LLC since 2004, Robert has orchestrated some of Palo Santo Designs’ most successful and acclaimed building projects. Robert has held a Contractor’s License since 1978, and is trained in LEED sustainable building techniques. In addition to his building expertise he is a Doctor of Chiropractic. His caring and thoughtful ways of working with people and his extensive experience in construction and renovation make him an exceptional construction manager. He has extensive experience in assessing and estimating projects, client relations and a proven track record with employee and subcontractor management. He maintains the highest standards of quality and safety assurances with clean and organized jobsites. Robert, in a detail-oriented way, adheres to all building codes, and coordinates with building inspectors. Furthermore, he is a craftsman of the highest standard, able to produce exquisite pieces of finely crafted woodwork.
Interests:
Mountain biking, bird watching, hiking and volunteer work with Wild Earth Guardians.

Brandon Snoy: Project Administrative Coordinator, since 2007
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Human Services, Fort Lewis College, Durango Co. 1997
Qualifications:
GB-98 Contractor’s license,10 years experience in the building trades; formal training in LEED and local green building codes and incentives; computer aided drafting. Brandon has strong communication and organizational skills, which allow him to successfully coordinate the administrative tasks associated with managing projects for Palo Santo Designs. His duties include client relations, creating estimates, and bid proposals, executing change orders and weekly job progress reports. Brandon’s position involves networking with architects, subcontractors, employees and building inspectors. Brandon has professional experience in residential and commercial projects and energy efficient design and construction. Furthermore he excels at employee management and business administration.

Mountain biking, skiing, youth mentoring.

Luke Hettel: Design Associate/Drafter, since 2009
Education:
Associate’s Degree in Architectural Drafting & Design, Santa Fe Community College, Santa Fe, NM. 2008
Foundation Year of Arts, Rudolf Steiner College, Fair Oaks, CA. 2005
Qualifications:
Luke’s background in architectural design and drafting is one that supplements the Palo Santo design team very well; bringing to the table his own inspiration and skills to further advance our design practice. Luke’s areas of expertise include drawing and drafting, 3D modeling, writing, and research. He also has a natural eye for design and a dedication to functionality. Combined interest in sustainability, design, and fine craftsmanship inspired Luke to seek out a place in the green design/build industry after completing his degree, and Palo Santo Designs has proved to be the perfect fit.
Interests:
Playing music, gardening, bouldering, drawing, building fine furniture and small structures.

Leslie Gallatin: Administrative Director, since 2001
Education:
Currently enrolled: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
Qualifications:
Leslie Gallatin is a co-owner of Palo Santo Designs, and works in a multifaceted way in the company. She oversees all business administration, as well as marketing and public relations. In addition to these roles, she is currently spearheading Palo Santo Designs’ Affordable Housing Initiative which is exploring opportunities to provide affordable LEED certified, zero energy housing.
