Mark Giorgetti: Founder and President

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, University of New Hampshire, 1994
Qualifications:
GB-98 Contractor’s License, LEED-Accredited Professional, with 16 years experience in the construction trades and small business administration. Post graduate level education in greenhouse gas emissions management from the building sector and an expert consultant to the United Nations on issues of sustainable housing and climate change.
Mark has trained and taught extensively in the environmental sciences, sustainable building practices and renewable energy systems for buildings. Mark has professional experience in commercial and residential design, permitting and assessing existing buildings for code compliance, structural integrity and energy performance. As well, Mark is accustomed to determining least cost options to build or remodel in environmentally conscious ways. He oversees all aspects of construction management including client relations, contract negotiation, business management, architectural design, estimating, bid proposals, project time line development, and cost tracking. Mark holds his crews to the highest standards of professionalism, quality, competitiveness and client satisfaction.
Furthermore, his unique knowledge and experience in the integration of traditional, low embodied energy building systems with state of the art clean energy technology provides Palo Santo Designs a special niche of expertise that assures best practices and cost effective means of attaining green building design and construction unlike others.

Brandon Snoy: Chief Operations Officer

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Human Services, Fort Lewis College, Durango Co. 1997
Qualifications:
GB-98 Contractor’s license,10 years experience in the building trades; formal training in LEED and local green building codes and incentives; computer aided drafting. Brandon has strong communication and organizational skills, which allow him to successfully coordinate the administrative tasks associated with managing projects for Palo Santo Designs. His duties include client relations, creating estimates, and bid proposals, executing change orders and weekly job progress reports. Brandon’s position involves networking with architects, subcontractors, employees and building inspectors. Brandon has professional experience in residential and commercial projects and energy efficient design and construction. Furthermore he excels at employee management and business administration.

Mountain biking, skiing, youth mentoring.

Leslie Gallatin: V.P. of Marketing & Business Development, since 2001
Education:
Currently enrolled: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology
Qualifications:
Leslie Gallatin is a co-owner of Palo Santo Designs, and works in a multifaceted way in the company. She oversees all business administration, as well as marketing and public relations. In addition to these roles, she is currently spearheading Palo Santo Designs’ Affordable Housing Initiative which is exploring opportunities to provide affordable LEED certified, zero energy housing.

Dalinda (Dee) Bangert: Green Building Consultant & Independent HERS Rater - USGBC Green Rater

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, University of Oklahoma, 1997
Qualifications:
Dee is a RESNET certified HERS Rater as well as a certified "Green Rater" for the USGBC LEED for Homes Program. She is also certified with the National Association of Home Builders as a "Green Verifier", an EPA Energy Star Partner, and a New Mexico licensed GB-98 contractor. She also holds a position as Adjunct Professor at the Santa Fe Community College in Green Building Policy and Energy Efficiency in Residential Buildings.
Aside from her obvious qualifications as a green building expert, Dee has served as the president of the Santa Fe Area Home Builders Association (2010) and as a key advisor on the "Build Green New Mexico" Advisory Board. Dee's role in Palo Santo Designs is as a primary consultant in all issues of green construction practice and design. Her expertise in the integration of state of the art green practices with quantifiable energy modeling tools is a key element of Palo Santo Designs' skill in providing the highest quality green buildings for our clients.
