Currently, Palo Santo Designs LLC has begun construction of a new residence in the Galisteo Basin Preserve development just outside of Santa Fe, NM. This 3000 square foot residence is designed for LEED for Homes Platinum rating, and will incorporate, pumice-crete walls, high performance building envelope, solar thermal heating, building integrated thin film photovoltaic, rain water harvesting, clay plasters and non-toxic paints and finishes, plus HEPA filtration Energy Recovery Ventilation. Palo Santo Designs LLC worked closely with VFLA Architecture out of Fort Collins Colorado www.vfla.co in an integrated design team approach to maximize the green potential of the project.
